It's the chasis MR02 that we used to the montage. ![]() The Taurus Ford like the GM Chevy have a distance between axes of 102 mm, unusual thing for our Mini-Z (there is only this measure in Kyosho's Monovolumen bodies). They have a width in front of the chasis which not take up in a frame of MR02. To take up these bodies we used a front bars set of PN Racing, which c onverts a frame of MR02 in frame of MR015, corresponding to the good width. ![]() These bars exist in silver and orange. the avantage to use bars is to avoid that it is necesary to difuse totally the frame when you break a arm of direction, the MR02 is less wide and the entry of curve is more easy. ![]() Finally we used a special motor mount of PN Racing for frame of 102mm. Among its characteristics we notice the thoughtlessness of the motor mount (it weigh less than the original plastic block!!), the very low center of gravity, and the fact that the weight is concentrated on the left (in Nascar, the runway is a ring and every is on the left, that is why the weight to the left allow to turn easily. This motor mount allows us to take up disk suspension (MR2060) without problems that uses the MR02MM (in position 94mm or 98mm). With this two options and usual details of a frame of MR02, we have a Nascar ready to run. |
