We now have at TRP the first images of a Mini-Z Mr02, prepared entirely by PN Racing.

img017b.jpgAs you can see in the images that have just arrived fom the US, the preparation of the MR02 chassis for competing in the PANCAR category of the PN Racing World Cup 2008, there´s no great difference from what we already do here in Spain.

Few parts that we don´t already know, but be it as it may, they are very well put together. As you can see, in addition to the habitual options (bearings, king pins, bolts etc.) some of the highlights in this set-up are the use of the new 98mm motor mount (ref. MR2288)  that presents a revolutionary design and improves the central gravity point of the chassis. It combines this motor mount with the disc suspension, with fiber plates with adjustable length (94 y/o 98mm) and with a central spring suspension (similar to those used in the Mini-Z F1). Given that it couldn´t be done in any other matter, an adjustable and very high quality PN Racing ball bearing differencial has also been installed. (ref. MR2045) together with the Pitch64 pinions and crowns  (ref. MR2640B).

With these options set up, the smootheness of the rear drive gear and its excellent on-.track performance are more than garanteed.

We also have to highlight that the cars prepared by PN Racing use the new H´s made with texalium or SSG Fiber (ref. MR2023S). The surface of these plates is much softer than the usual carbon fiber ones, thus causing us to have to modify the pressure of the springs on the supsension discs so that the lateral swinging is perfect.

On the front drive gear we can also see the stunning stabilizing bar (ref. MR2695) mounted next to the reinforcement bar of the chassis (which is mounted by pressing down the suspension arms.) which, in addition, on this occaision gives us a first rate caster in the steering King Pins.  They also use much shorter suspension springs for setting up the stabilizing bar set  (ref.MR2090).

We can´t let up the occaision to explain that this car specifically is one of those which, in the PN World Cup Race held at the RC Kenon marked the spectacular 58 laps in times of around only 9 seconds.

Finally, we want to emphasize the fact that in the USA many drivers use their competition cars with ASF 2.4 Ghz technology.

KoPropo transmitters and these new electronics are on the cutting edge.

Its no wonder.

Here you can see the rest of the images of the chassis prepared.
