The La Fábrica Racetrack, one of the oldest facilities solely dedicated to Mini-z cars, has newly remodeled its track.

At this great permanent track of Barcelona, the desire to always be unique has led them to try different surfaces and different routes throughout its more than 6 years of existence. In this manner, far from being detached from the latest tendencies, at the La Fabrica Race Track they have made a final decision to install the RCP foam track.

After testing out the RCP Track at the Los Angeles Final of the PN Racing World Cup in 2005, they were able to demonstrate some of the excellent aspects of this surface. On this occaision MR02 modified (FET) cars were used which also had incorporated powerful motors with high development. The result was excellent and at not time did anyone complain about a lack of traction. All participants used rubber tires.
The definitive test of the RCP track took place at the show held by TRP at the Barcelona 2005 Tuning show. There, many drivers from Barcelona and surrounding districts were able to test the surface for the first time shortly after its arrival from the USA.
In every test the impressive grip of the RCP track was the real highlight as with the high level of protection for the cars.
Before recieving the new track, the engineers of the LA Fabrica Race Track , now also known as the La Fábrica RCPTrack used the (RCP TRACK BUILDER) software developed by TRP to design thier track and adjust it according to the surface available. With this software they were also able to reduce their budget and also it enabled them to minimize the number of extra pieces as a result of finding the best assembly combination. (combining complete WIDE "L" tracks with other random ones.)

The set up of the track was extremely fast given that they had the graphical design of the track already laid out with the help of the software and thus simply had to place each piece together like a puzzle.
Yesterday they were finally able to test out the RCP Track set up at the La Fabrica Race Track facilities and, of course... with great excitement.
Stay tuned in to the news and information that the folks from the La Fabrica race Track will be bringing to us. They are already preparing a series of races and meets that should be very interesting and will coincide with the usual opening days of their facilities (tuesday evenings and Friday afternoons)
