Noe Miralta reveals to us the operation of the new Standard motor by Atomic in an article about the dynamic testing of the motor. 
New Standard Motor by Atomic.Once again, Atomic has suprised us with another motor. With a name like "Standard it clearly defines the type of motor that we´re dealing with. This motor consists of a bearing-less box and its respective coil. This could be used with or without chips. Similar to its big brother, the Stock, if it is used with modified electronics its performance can be enhanced. The Standard motor belongs to the famliliar PN Speedy family, its direct competitor, though not a rival given that the Standard gives us a greater reflex and maximum speed. To be honest it seemed quite similar to the Stock at first but with a much more elastic acceleration curve. Thanks to the elasticity of this motor we are better able to control the mini-z. We control each curve without losing speed on the straight, given that this motor significantly increases in revolutions. So therefore its evenly distributed power during the acceleration process provides us with a better traction without reaching typical sharp accelerations that only end up causing the car to skid and in turn, wear down the tires prematurely. In closing, Atomic has surprised us once again with a Standard motor in its purest from wich also clearly surpasses its rivals in the same category. It is recommended for those who want to be able to have a greater control over the mini- without losing what we all know as "a motor that is stretched out to the mas".
THE SUGGESTION: As with all the Atomic motors, the best thing is not to apply any type of motor additive (vodoo) as it alredy goes fast enough! Such liquids don´t tend to go well with Atomic motors. |
