The race was very interesting and close given that the majority of the drivers were racing the same lap throughout the race. Due to the large size of the track; 17meters long x 8 meters wide, the drivers were worried about the duration of their batteries, with some drivers just about making it to the end of the final 15 minutes of the fast lap clocking in at 25.600. All photos It was a pity that the transponder of Jose Delgado failed, because he was moving as fast as a bullet. Nacho (known as NGB in the forums) showed us his teeth so that he could show us what the folks from Madrid are made of. The Bejar team had many interferences and Padowan (Jesús) had half of his car destroyed when he was testing out is transponder. Mario (Maben) who gets better everyday really stood out (all we need now is an indoor track!!). Also to be highlighted was the heart throbbing third place struggle between Fernando Macoy and Angel which in the end was like a football match. Finally, the first two places were taken by the locals, (Zamoranos Dream Team) and the third place by the Valladolid Team. As always, one of the main highlights was the good food and the good atmosphere among the drivers. |
