This afternoon we will be testing out the new motor mount on the la Fabrica Race Track circuit of PN Racing MM.ML (MR9498) which is mounted on a 98mm car, together with the  new double lateral suspension Side damper Plate Set (MR2065).

According to a recent conversation held with the pilots of the official PN Racing team in Hong Kong, contracted to test out each one of the novelties of the model before they are put on sale. Before this lateral spring suspension system, already used in the MR01 chassis, performs much better than the disc suspension, especially on the tracks with sharp bends.  





According to them, the disc suspension is highly recommended for winding tracks with fairly smooth bends. This disk suspension, when performing, doesn´t return easily to its inicial position. In some circuits, only with disc suspension are we able to achieve good times but on some faster tracks the disk requieres a bit of assistance to return back to its original center position. 

For this reason the other great manufacterer of Mini-z Atomic parts has added a disc suspension with springs modifiable in pre load. 

After carrying out various training sessions on tracks such as that of RC Terrassa or on the la Fabrica Race Track of Barcelona, setting up different shock configurations we have been able to to show that on the sharp bends if springs that accompany the friction disc aren´t used, the front inner wheel begins to raise and therefore can seriously jeopardizes its stability.   




We will notify you shortly about the results of these tests and also about the pros and cons that we have found with respect to other mount and suspension systems.
