0.2mm metal spacers thick, optional, for the rear suspension of the AWD chassis Atomic BZ2017 .

¿For what? We use these 0.2mm spacers for the rear suspension?

We will use these spacers to modify the height of the rear suspension axles , those that support the lower trapezius. In this way we can play with the Center of Gravity and with the so-called " Anti Squad & quot ;. The & quot; Anti Squad & quot; it is the angle of the lower rear trapeziums relative to the chassis. By modifying this angle (by lifting the rear part of the trapezoids) we get that the rear springs are not the only ones that have to support all the sinking of the rear train in the accelerations, especially when we use soft springs in the suspension. This effect has to do with the transfer of weights when accelerating and braking.

The difference in thickness between the spacers that we mount on the rear / front and the rear / rear of the rear frame of our chassis, will give us a the angle "Anti Squad".

Atico also has 0.1mm thick spacers , with reference: BZ17-UP01-1 . Therefore we can combine the two sizes of spacers with the absence of these (as the chassis works of factory).

¿In what? Does the Center of Gravity affect the behavior of our chassis?

Having a very low Gravity Center will allow us to; increase the stability and grip of our chassis. Of course, that is feasible in very smooth circuits. Now, using these spacers, we will get down the Gravity Center because we will be lowering the rear train ...
If we lower only the chassis in the rear part of the train, using these spacers, and therefore we leave the art of the front axle higher, what we will achieve is greater traction in the rear train. We will have better stability and a better transference of weights in the rear train in the accelerations, although we will also suffer a slight loss of spin, while we are accelerating.
